Why you should wear sunglasses

Just as you wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun, you should wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Sunglasses protect your eyes from the harmful effects of the sun and from windblown dust and debris. Sunglasses not only protect against glare but also stabilize visual quality under various light conditions.

Beams of light in the ultraviolet (UV) range can cause injury to the cornea. Fortunately, most sunglasses do protect us well from the sun, but there is no easy way to know which ones do and which ones don’t. Sunglasses now come with a variety of “UV protection” labels, often based on standards set by the American Standards Institute (ANSI). If there is no label, do not buy the sunglasses.

There are many different places to get good quality sunglasses both online and offline. If you prefer buy sunglasses online, make sure you buy it from reputable merchants.
